    Telephone Appointment was made from CHEC for me to visit Lyme Drive Clinic with no problem and confirmed with a letter supplying 2 phone numbers to contact if any change. Owing to a long awaited operation (nearly 2 yrs) now being scheduled same day, I have rung both these numbers CHEC supplied 7 times so far - only answer is " The person you are calling is unavailable, please call later". Confirmation letter also says ( if you rearrange your appointment more than twice, or fail to attend without given prior notice) you may be referred back to your GP. Think it's time CHEC gave people a proper phone line to communicate before issuing threats of discontinued treatment.

    Went for more detailed Glaucoma check up! Part way through, The Nurse could not administer Eyedrops, so could not continue checks. Said that She would make another appointment for me to have another Peripheral check, as I didn't consider stuffing a piece of tissue over one eye to be correct way of doing test as it pushed my glasses out of position. Was told I would have another check in 3 months, but didn't receive any correspondence. Would appreciate reply on WhatsApp Please. Jack Legg

    Hope their treatment is better than their administration. Appointment made 9weeks ago (web site claims 100% seen in 4 weeks?). Received three reminders for the appointment and then less than 24hrs before appointment, received phone call to say that booking was cancelled as should not of been put in the system as no one available on that date. This is either an indication of very poor administration or a excuse for late cancellation of appointment. Had cancelled other arrangements to be able to attend.

    I have deteriorating glaucoma, i attended the visual field test two weeks before my face to face appointment. With 24hrs notice it was changed to a phone appointment. When the call came through the consultant was very distracted. He just rambled on how the results showed how nothing had changed in my vision. I informed him that one of my eyes had misted over and it was very difficult to see out of it. At this i wondered if he was looking at my personal results at all. He informed me we needed a face to face exam, like the one that was originally booked and he would arrange it. It is now Oct 30th 23 and i have heard nothing back. As a result of the vision deteriorating i have been to my local hospital who confirmed a fogging of a lens resulting in laser treatment, and also booked me in for stent surgery to lower my pressures. Im sorry but this is a very negative review, but we are talking about my sight. No i would not recommend this service.

    i was referred by my optician on Tuesday. Was seen by the consultant at Stevenage clinic on Wednesday I had a small worry so rang the helpline on Thursday & got a call back in just over 2 hours Thank you so much

    My first visit to Stevenage CHEC unit was a good experience. Everyone appeared happy & I observed were responsive to individual customers needs. My test was on time but unfortunately because a mechanical breakdown could not be completed & so as promised I was contacted today with a new appointment to complete but also another doctor appointment following that so I didn't need to return again. An excellent customer focus by all,thankyou.

    An extremely high standard of care. Sensitive to the needs of elderly person without making you feel like a stupid old woman - which is rare. Thank you to everyone, all the staff were great.

    I have just been for my appointment @ash grove knottingley and no one turned up and not answering phone or email If I miss my appointment I get charged what about you refunding my taxi fare
