    My experience in the mobile unit on my last appointment was good. I was in and out in 5 minutes. Last year it lasted longer and had my eyes dilated as well. Unfortunately at that time had a reaction to the dilation drops that lasted a few months. Everything else was wonderful. Staff were fine and professional ! The location is small and tight , but functional and cosy.

    Very disorganised. 2nd visit here as they hadn't read my notes properly the 1st time. Dr was running an hour late as he apparently got lost, in the days of sat nav - really? If a Dr can't find a place of work then I don't trust them to assess the condition of my eyes. Both occasions I had to take time off work and use public transport as advised by them not to drive to the appointments. Will have to arrange again! But not definitely not at Stratford

    First appointment in May 2022 for glaucoma went well but follow up in November not as advised as put straight into monitoring with no clinical followup for 1 year 4 months. Confusing booking text messages, letters no promised reports from visits received, no test bookings available to tie in with consultations resulting in 50 mile round trip to another clinic. Luckily resolved last minute due to cancellation.

    Professional, organised , compassionate, incredible patient, extremely and highly professional and qualified service. No waiting, availability is brilliant. I even cancelled due to illness and was re booked with no issues. All info provided and understood. Staff was so kind and caring.

    The eye technicians & consultants are fantastic and help all they can. It stops there. You get reminders to make appointments that you have already made, you get reminders to attend those appointments that they are chasing you up to make. You cannot amend or cancel appointments because the telephone always has same answerphone message that no one can answer the phone. This has been a constant for at least 6 months. You would have thought the managers would have sorted this out by now. How can I amend my appointment when there is no provision to do so. A truly dreadful administrative service. No wonder people dont turn up for appointments because they cant get in touch with any one to cancel them. Just dreadful

    Referred from Bournemouth eye hosp to ask Communiy eye care for urgent appointment. COmmunity Eye Care reception said he had not received the referral details from B eye hosp. Could take a week or 2. Rang Community Eye Care again 3 hrs later and was again told they hadn’t received my details from B eye hosp. I rang B eye hosp and they said all I had to do is ask for an appointment via COmmunity Eye Care ....no details are ever sent from BEye hosp. I rang COmmunity Eye Care again and explained the situation again..she apologised and said I had been misinformed..she gave me phone numbers for my nearest appropriate opticians. I am clearly very cross and upset not only because my eye problem but because I have had very poor service from Community Eye Care.

    I have to say this was an experience made better by the staff at this lovely place. They were very helpful and friendly. Northing was too much trouble and when I came for the assessment and again when I had the operation they were great.
