    Everything explained extremely well in Northampton. The staff are extremely nice. Amazing - I was very worried as I dislike medical things and usually keep my eyes shut!! This was not a painful procedure and I enjoyed the blurred lights - amazing effect

    I went to my optician on the Thursday in a sorry state . I received an appointment for that Saturday . I was seen at the appointment time . The clinic was lovely and easy to locate. The gentleman I saw was professional, obviously highly experienced, kind and efficient. I was given great information, reassurance and drops . I was advised to come for follow up in 6 weeks. I have a chronic condition. Management is the only long term answer but I came away a much happier person prior to my holiday leaving this week. I am hopeful this treatment will help but oh , I am so grateful for the treatment I received. 5 stars does not rate this service high enough. If it’s ratings aren’t brilliant on line and I honestly think it’s because of the rating pro forma that is sent after the appointment. It’s a bit misleading, having marked everything 5 , when I went back to check it I realised a ‘1 ‘ was the high not 5 ! It’s the way it’s set out . Any way thank you so so much .

    The experience at the testing centre was good and efficient but the correspondence from the clinic for appointments is very confusing. Everything needs to be done online following a vague text message which doesn’t explain why you need to make an appointment and can easily be missed. This then often needs a follow up phone call to find out why you have to make an appointment. Some people answering the phone are excellent while others don’t seem to know anything. Very confusing and annoying

    Changed phone number without letting me know- old phone number just says can't connect you, doesn't tell you what to do. If your call doesn't correspond to one of their presets they just hang up. And 7 days for an urgent appointment is shocking, that's why people go straight to A&E

    After surgery on my left eye, I was left with blurred vision for the next Month, after a revisit was told that the surgery was a success, I needed a second opinion and went private at Spire , was told here that my Cornia was inflamed,am on drops 4 times daily and still blurred vision after 13 weeks, the operation itself I found most uncomfortable , which I was not expecting. Still under treatment.

    I was referred by my optician. I was sent 2 appointment dates by CHEC as I needed 2 for tests to be done then a discussion with the Dr at Perfect Focus Bromsgrove, Dr said that he would send my GP a prescription for eye drops for me, but he never did. Later on in the year I was sent letters from CHEC asking me to make 2 appointments with Perfect Focus online which I did. In November I went for my first appointment and again I had a Field of vision test and images taken of the back of my eye as I did in June. I was told by the lady doing the tests to cancel my next appointment as their doctor would call me to tell me the next steps. Guess what he never did, I've a feeling that this was a case of "Don't call us, We'll call you". I have tried calling Perfect Focus on different numbers, left voice mail messages and emailed them but have not had response from them. They have a very nice reception desk at their premises but it is never manned so you cannot talk to anybody. I've now given up with this eye care as it's a waste of my time and I've already lost whole mornings and petrol costs travelling to and from Bromsgrove plus the car park charges.
