    I had an assessment for cataract surgery yesterday morning 03/05/23 at new Cross (south London) and was given an appointment to have the surgery for this morning (04/05/2023) at 08:30 and was all done and dusted and on my way home by 10am, amazing service and totally awesome care, despite my being overly nervous the team at New Cross were nothing short of excellent and I can't thank you all enough. thank you all so much.

    My visit to CHEC Watford was satisfactory. Staff are kind and my operation was managed efficiently. I did not have to wait long for my surgery since my consultation. The process was efficient and convenient for the patients.

    Made an appointment but owing to a problem I needed to cancel. There is no facility to do this on line so it is necessary to phone. After 3 attempts after 9.15 am all I got each time was a message saying there was no one to take my call , try again later. Complete waste of time.

    Well structured operation from supply of transportation through reception, Pre-Op treatment, quick operation procedure plus post op advise. This was my 2nd operation and less waiting around experience.

    I tried to book an appointment for glaucoma check. Using the link provided I was given two locations that were 30 miles away and are both inaccessible by public transport. I am going to try and be referred back to Bournemouth eye hospital which is 12 miles away and has good public transport links.

    I use the CHEC eye care service in Blackpool which face to face is very good , well organised and professional. However trying to communicate by phone to change an appointment or make a query I have found impossible, time wasting and frustrating.

    Whilst I am sure this is an efficient use of resources I found my appointment yesterday rather like a conveyer belt. It was 15 minutes from the time through the door to out of the building when it had taken me an hour to travel each way.
