    I had an endoscopy three months after a left hip replacement. This meant having the procedure on my back. It was very distressing and painful, almost unbearably so. I do not know if there is a limit on the amount of sedation, but the sedation was not enough. The previous occasion of an endoscopy at The Treatment Centre had not caused pain. I feel that the choice of CHEC was an unwise choice bearing in mind I had had a hip replacement recently. The Doctor reported that if I needed another endoscopy it should be at the hospital. I cannot fault the treatment I was given in terms of care, but it was so painful I felt bad for the nursing staff who carried out the procedure. I was given the option to halt the procedure, but knowing I would have to go through the same thing again, I tried to get through it. At the pre med conversation I wonder if the fact of the hip replacement should have been picked up and questioned with the clinic requiring the endoscopy.

    The clinic was very Clean, I'm really happy with the service, calling wait time was a bit longer than I hoped but I'm really happy with the service I receive from the call centre. Friendly nurses and friendly staff all around at the clinic

    I find everybody at CHEC are always helpful I get reminded every 6 months regarding the Glaucoma appointments and always get a text reminder which is very helpful too. The appointments in Severn Fields clinic are always punctual and the staff there are charming. Booking appointments to suit are made easily when called from the team.

    Excellent and efficient service from all staff from the assesment to cataract operation. Everyone friendly to put you at your ease. Operation quick and painless and the kind Consultant chatted to me all the way through the procedure. Thanks "chec" for offering this service in Nottingham.

    Letter arrived today asking me to book an appointment. Tried 3 times the web address could not find it. Phoned the 0300 number to be told by a answer service to book on line but if not able to a person will contact me in 28 days time. Frustrating.

    I never recommend, this is not a reflection of CHEC but everyone's experience is different. It can be hard to get through to CHEC, but this has improved recently. All the staff even on the phones are very helpful.

    I had my cataract done on 15th Nov 2022 after a visit to Specsavers on the 14th Dec 2022 I was told I had a lesion and need to go back to CHEC clinic so did on 15th Dec and was put on 1 x eye drop's and 6 x eye drop's a day. On the 11th Jan 2023 I was back again and was put on more eye drops 4 x a day they didn't sort the eye drops out until 16th Jan. Back to CHEC clinic on 9th Feb 2023 It was a nightmare getting the drops again but with help from our Pharmacist we got them late 10th Feb. we were due back at the CHEC clinic on the 8th Mar 2023 but they rang on the 1st March to cancel it until sometime in April. very very poor service

    I received a text requesting I book an appointment with CHEC using the link below. I do not own a Smart Phone. There is no phone number to contact included in the text messsage. Many of my generation do not own Smart Phones . Please consider us when sending out the contact request. A friend has written this review on my behalf.
