    I found it hard to get in touch you just get a call centre never received my drops or information booklet despite several phone calls before my yag laser treatment . The clinic itself was very friendly all staff ver nice ! Dr that did the laser was very calming and very reassuring just a shame that the administration side of it lets it down

    I can't thank the staff enough for their care, patience and kindness during my eye operation. Everyone was just wonderful and put me at ease straight away. Their efficiency was amazing, even down to the taxi service provided. Would highly recommend.

    We where very impressed with how quick the referral came through, and very pleased it was a text so no waiting for letters, it's so convenient as I can check my availability and book when I am able to attend appointments, the staff at the bookings office are very helpful and efficient. Really impressed.

    The CHEC Clinic offers excellent service, they are mindful of it being cold and flu season as well as Covid. All the staff wear masks, still social distance in place, the reception and staff all give a warm welcome, as do the booking office who always have time for you. The clinic and toilets are spotless. I was seen at CHEC Preston

    I arrived today for my 13-10 appointment at 13-05 hrs to be told my appointment was not until 14-20 hours. The appointment was made by telephone on the 7th November 2022,the phone call was recorded at my property. I was eventually seen at 14-00 hrs after making a complaint at reception. My advice is to stay well clear of this firm.

    The Glaucoma tests are comfortable. It is sometimes a little difficult to get an appointment, but I always get there in the end. I see CHEC at Warwick Gates

    87 year old attended appointment was 10 minutes late due to taxi being late. Was then told after sitting in waiting room for 10 minutes that would have to make another appointment as unable to see. This is totally unacceptable.

    My mum had an appointment at this clinic. We got late by half an hour because there was a breakdown on the main road outside the clinic itself. So went to reception and explained to her. She was very rude from the beginning tod us we would have to re book then she wouldn't let me answer any questions without asking my mum first. I am allowed to speak on my mums behalf everywhere cause she is elderly and can't speak English. She was so arrogant and rude even when I tod her she was rude she still try to be polite in anyway as if she didn't give a care in the world how she made me and my mum feel. I suffer from anxiety so I was not in the best situation. Anyway we will not be using that clinic we requested to be requested to another clinic instead. I have already spoke to someone at chec customer services about this. Why should staff be able to speak to patients carers this way? It is not exceptable.

    This clinic is happy to accept referrals - you get seen quicker than waiting for an eye clinic within a hospital. From the very start the service of appts , wait times in clinic, procedure, were awful. The aftercare is minimal. If you have problems after surgery you are spoken to with minimal information - just give another set of eye drops. Chasing up appt which has not been given you are sent a text as if you are just starting the process all over again without any regard for history. Customer service no. mentioned on this site has not been working for the last 5 days. I wish I had stuck to a proper NHS clinic. This clinic is private and accepts overflow from NHS and funding for taking patients. I can find no good words to say about it.
