    I have taken time off work to take my mum to 2 appointments at CHEC Redditch, only to be told equipment is not working or that, although she has a letter confirming that she will meet with the specialist, this does not happen and yet another appointment is required. Are CHEC being paid for these "appointments"?

    Would like to say a massive thank you to every single member of staff at CHEC Ilford who were so lovely and friendly , from the guy at the front desk, to the lady who prepped me for my sedation and then the people who done my gastroscopy. The friendliest welcoming clinic I have ever been to. Everyone were so nice and made an unpleasant experience as comfortable as it could be with their general chat, jokes and smiles. Massive thank you :)

    From the moment I walked in I was well looked after with kindness and efficiency. Was so pleased that they gave me an appointment to have my cataract op on the next day. They even phoned for a taxi for us. I am going back to have my second eye done with no worries what so ever.

    I was anxious about having Cataract Surgery as I am disabled and use a wheelchair. Everybody at the Stevenage branch was very friendly, kind and helpful. I am due to have the second Cataract removed in a few months and will happily attend the appointment.

    I was extremely anxious in the lead up to my colonoscopy, but thankfully my experience at Ilford from the initial assesment and through the procedure, was wonderful. Without exception, everyone I encounteted was compassionate and went above and beyond in order to reassure me and make me feel at ease. I really can not praise them highly enough. This is an amazing service and I am so grateful that it exists.

    I entered a chat, a name came up but she did not reply. I had to go out and when I got back my chat had just disappeared. I wanted to check if I could fly shortly after my lenses had been lasered.

    Appointment at chec preston on 30th October 2024 at 10 o’clock I had not received eye drops for procedure, after checking in had seat in the waiting room 1 hour and 45 mins later was seen by professional, he had not been informed I had arrived he was very apologetic and whole appointment lasted no more than 5mins, excellent professional poor clerical staff

    I have left 5 x emails now, trying to get a response at the very least. Trying to get my wife seen for an eye isssue. She has Altzheimers, so doing in all on her behalf. It took two days before I received a response asking for more information. I did so, but no response. I sent another asking why they didn’t respond. They responded to that one by asking for the patient information again. I did this 3 x times, but now no response after another four days. I’m fed up with them now. They also say they didn’t receive the information , which came back to me on the email that had the information they had asked for. I’ve given up now and will just take my wife to the Hospital. Double-checked, triple-checked their email address to make sure it’s going to the right address.
