        I had day surgery and I was really pleased with my time spent there the staff was really polite and helpful. My consultant explained my procedure so I knew what was going to be done how long it would take etc. I couldn't praise the staff enough I would definitely recommend Thornbury hospital. Thank you everyone.

    I'am need of a full hip replacement. Heard about one health and the administration staff are excellent. Unfortunately the same can not be said about the two consultants i had dealt with. First one cancelled 10 minutes before appointment and still hasn't given any date of a new one even a week later. I had tried another consultant which they put on through a telephone appointment. From the start of the consultation he was dismissve of what i told him about how I'm suffering every day and that mentally it is challenging not being able to do all the things i used to do before. He said he did not want to do the operation due to my age. I had already had the steroid injection, MRI and x-ray sent to him. And yet still he said that he should have them ordered. I even offered to do this due to desperate situation i'am in at the moment. This would mean travelling which i was prepared to do and again he outright dismissed this and said to get it done locally. That was the end of the conversation. He then puts in his review to one health saying he recommended that i do all the mri and x-ray and injection under his care. He definitely did not say this on the phone appointment and due to his utter uncaring attitude for someone who is supposed to help and genuinely had no intention of doing so. I'm now expected to go on until my hip finally collapses and i physically can't walk. If you do try one health, i do hope you have better luck than i had.

    I was unaware of the One Health service until a nurse practitioner from my GP surgery referred me. My experience had been extremely positive. I was able to speak to a consultant regarding my medical concern and after treatment, returned for a follow up a few months later. I was able to make my own appointment just by contacting One Health without the need to go back to my GP.

    All the staff that I encountered during my treatment and operation from .The consultant down to the catering and reception. We're all extremely professional and pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble. Which all helped me relax knowing I was being looked after so well for my operation

    I have just wasted 3 hours and driven over 100 miles round trip for an appointed arranged by One Health that they cancelled and didn't have the common courtesy, administration and communication skills to inform me of the cancellation. I wasn't the only one that turned up today for an appointment that had been cancelled with no communication to the patients. Shows a distinct lack of respect for their patients. Very poor.

    All my experience from the moment I was sent to see the knee consultant was excellent. The surgery was good, and the physio process helped me to get back into sports. Thank you for all the help

    Having had problems with my back for almost a year with the first GP seemingly not to listen to what I was saying, the second GP I saw finally sent me for an MRI scan, which was done by One Health. The scan was good and the people I saw were kind, patient, and professional. My consultation with the One Health doctor a few weeks later was very informative as he went through the scans to show me why I had had so much pain with my back. He clearly showed me what was causing the problems and how this had healed itself and what to do the try and prevent me having the same problems again. He also spent time with me explaining what to do if I had loss of feeling in my back in the effected area. All in all a very positive experience and he took time to answer the questions I asked. Excellent!

    My hip replacement was extremely well managed by the surgeon, anaesthetist and nursing staff. I could not have had more professional and caring treatment.
