    Called 111 because impossible to get appointment with gp. Call handler did assessment and said i would get a call within an hour, 5 hours later no call back. Received two messages saying I was in a list and would be called back it’s now 2am and still no call. I called again and this call handler couldn’t access previous assessment as it was a different area I had been sent through to, surely this is held on a central database? Advised that they would get a clinician to call within a day. So from initial assessment saying within an hour and second stating a day looks like I won’t be getting a call back after sitting up until 2am waiting on it. This service needs seriously overhauling

    Had a meniscus tear repair done and the whole team from surgeon to anaesthetist and care staff post op are a credit to the NHS absolutely superb service customer care at its best exceptional this took place on the 17/8/23 as a day case i hope the staff get recognition for there outstanding dedication to the care of all patients i cant remember all there names but it was a day shift on the lower ward many thanks to all of you for making it so smooth thank you, you are a credit to the NHS

    Rang at 2.30pm Friday because gp had no appointments and son had tonsils so swollen he couldn't swallow. Gave up after waiting 20 minutes and used the online version. It said we would be called back within 2 hours. 15 hours later, whilst I was asleep, I had 2 missed calls from them. 15 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    After 35 calls and 11left messages I finally got through to some one about my issue with my procedure after explaining my issue I was then told I was incorrect to call my procedure an endoscopy it's actually a sigmoidoscopy then I was told that its ok I'm male and we are apparently famous for not reading the correct terms and need to be treated like babies most of the time because we are not too smart then told me she is too busy to speak to someone who does not refer to her as a ma'am I can only assume she has serious femanist issue but to be placed in a job where she has to talk to people is a discrace and huge lmistae of the managers of that system

    Absolutely useless and a waste of my time. Not fit for purpose. Kept on hold too long. Asking the same question from previous calls, call handler not being able to access my previous call logs. A doctor who said he would refer me to a 24/7 district nurse but didn’t.

    I had excruciating dental pain with a swollen face, I couldn't concentrate on immediate necessary activities, was pacing up and down, could no longer take any more painkillers as I had reached the full recommended dose. I am both mother and carer to my 3 children who rely on me. Phoned the service, all they did was recommend the services of local dentists, who were full when phoned and even the receptionists were saying 111 keep referring people even though we have no appointment spaces left. 111 referred me to one dentist who told me that they had no NHS spaces left, but would happily see me if I paid £190. This unfortunately was not an option for me, as having not long got back from a family holiday I didn't have funds available. I phoned 111 on 4 separate occasions who went through the same questions each Time whilst I was finding it painful and difficult to speak. I was eventually told that a nurse would ring me back, however I got a call in the middle of the night to say the nurse was overwhelmed and was unlikely to phone me soon, but did I still want a call back, to which I replied yes. Its a good job that the next morning at opening my own dentist managed to fit me in as an emergency and give me antibiotics as I don't know what I would have done otherwise, i never heard from the nurse. My infection was very bad. As someone who is used to dental pain having had 2 full sets of braces, and teeth pulled out and moved around, I don't succumb to dental pain easily and yet I don't feel that I was taken seriously as to how bad my problem was. I also have fibromyalgia that is know to set nerve signals off and cause even more pain, yet this wasn't even one of the things they asked me about or took into account, despite me telling them of this. I am now absolutely terrified of experiencing dental pain like this again as I know that this service will just leave me to suffer.

    I went to practice plus in king George’s hospital, Ilford, to have a very small cyst removed from my knee. The service, the staff, the treatment, the surgeon, the ward staff, everyone was absolutely brilliant. Polite, caring, helpful. The building and the ward were spotless. I had stitches in the knee and unfortunately my fault entirely that the stitches split because I forgot and bent the knee too much so the wound opened. I called the hospital and they said come down straight away which I did and had it redressed with strips holding the wound together. So far so good. I cannot fault this place and if I ever have anything done again it would be my pleasure to go there again. Thank you

    Called 111 with the advice off a doctor, as my baby hasn't been well with a temperature and has repeatedly thrown up, not keeping anything including water down, was told when on the phone they'd ring within the hour, it is 2 and a half hours later and has been sick again and no call back, what was the point in getting a pay rise when you obviously by the looks of the reviews don't do your job correctly. Won't be ringing 111 as they're a waste of time.

    Ridiculous situation where the operator would not (could not) discuss notes of previous call. Follow on from the same issues which I need additional help with. Not their fault personally I am sure no doubt its 'the process.' Well the process is clearly not fit for purpose. Can't get a go appointment. NHS consult closed at the weekend and NHS 111 won't deal with it. It encourages people to tell a pack of lies to get referred or they go to A&E and for older, honest people (like me) it's very difficult and puts my health at risk.

    Phoned in for my 2 year old grandson with temp 39.4, rash all over, sleepy and in pain along with other symptoms. Was accessed that needed a call within 1 hour, durring this time started to vomit as well. Chased twice as not call received. Now 5 hours waiting!! They can’t say how long will be, 111 phoned them and they saw they have breached his time wait( could be dangerous the extended waiting, meningitis ect) but still not called. I believe we now will go to A&E and tell them reason we are there as did try to see gp.
